NORAD 66993 - Unknown CW source

Jan @PE0SAT reported on X discovering a CW source on 437.725 (corrected) :slight_smile: tracking with NORAD 66693. Nice catch Jan! Seems that source is still unknown. Confirming Jan’s initial observation of unidentified satellite. 23Dec25 0246Z FN41iq 83E.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for sharing this information, to be sure aren’t we talking about 66993 on 437.72x with high speed CW.

In the meantime we determined with the help of the Slippers2Sat team that this is SPNeX.

But it could be I am now also mixing an earlier find some time ago that wasn’t seen again.

The NORAD ID 66693 corresponds to the satellite named “Tiangong-1”, the Chinese space station module. Could it be related to this? I believe this space station module has re-entered though
