With the announcement of an SSTV event coming, I deleted all my VHF voice observations and went to re-schedule them as SSTV… but that doesn’t seem to be an option anymore? What is the recommended transmitter for ISS VHF SSTV?

I believe it usually gets enabled by @fredy prior to the event occurring, to avoid users continually scheduling the ISS with it when we know there’s going to be no SSTV transmissions…

Why change it now? Although this brings up a question that I have always had… why have so many “transmitters” for the ISS that are all essentially the same frequency. Why not just define the transmitters by the downlink frequency and modulation?

SSTV transmitter is now active again. You can always suggest its change in DB by editing the transmitter entry.
