New Installation - satnogs cannot be online

You will probably need to re-adjust your gain setting once it is installed and powered.

It may be possible to power the preamp via the coax (‘bias-tee’), but I’m not sure of the current way of doing that, so I’d suggest powering it separately if possible.

The ‘Setting the gain’ guide leads you through how to optimize your gain settings: https://wiki.satnogs.org/Omnidirectional_Station_How_To#Setting_the_gain

from this picture nayif-1 uses blue sdr yesterday and LNA spf what do i need to change the settings … thank you sir

Did you notice any change with or without LNA… Looks like LNA is not working

Normally, when you install the LNA without lowering gain value, receiver should be overloaded

As I mentioned above, please follow the ‘Setting the gain’ guide: https://wiki.satnogs.org/Omnidirectional_Station_How_To#Setting_the_gain

This will help determine the appropriate gain setting for your station.

If it’s like this, what’s the problem, sir?
“satnogsclient.observer.observer - ERROR - Failed to rename the data file”
Please help…

It looks like this is a matter of permissions on the selected directory where generated files are saved.

What should I do, sir? I’m a beginner, sir. Please help…

Do you use the default RPi image? If yes please provide the support report (in sudo satnogs-setup, under the Advanced -> Support).

Have you performed any changes on the directories where the files are saved or on the users?

I really haven’t changed the directory … how sir
