Thanks @109ha1313 Got your heads-up just as RS58S was appearing over the horizon on its 1005UTC pass over UK. Wasn’t really set-up for reception and about to go out but managed to grab a couple of partials - unfortunately not good enough to bother posting here. Hopefully I’ll get better images over the weekend now I am alert to the transmissions.
I’m glad that someone else is watching these little satellites. Unfortunately, it’s in a very low orbit for me today, but I hope to get some pictures tomorrow. Happy hunting!
73!
Got a couple of partials on the pass yesterday evening and another two this morning. This is the best of the images received so far.

Does anyone know if there is a qsl available for this activation?
Got the same 2 images here (IO91vi) but lower quality at similar elevation.
"In honor of the 92nd anniversary of the birth of the first cosmonaut, Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin, a satellite called MONITOR-3 (RS58S) is planning to transmit images via SSTV.
Yuri Gagarin, who made the first human spaceflight on April 12, 1961, aboard the Vostok-1 spacecraft, became a symbol of the dawn of the space age. His feat paved the way for the development of manned spaceflight, international cooperation in space, and numerous scientific research projects in low-Earth orbit.
SSTV transmission schedule from the MONITOR-3 (RS58S) small spacecraft:
Transmission start: March 9, 2026, at ~08:15 UTC.
Transmission end: March 10, 2026, at ~09:15 UTC.
Format: SSTV Robot 36.
Interval between transmissions: 120 seconds (may be adjusted later)."
