That’s only possible for a privileged team. They should have reached out beforehand!

It is not for a privileged team, anyone with scheduling permissions can override this soft limit in advanced options in scheduling page:
The logic behind it and the reason I use it is when I schedule satellites that don’t have accurate TLE, usually near re-entry or after deployment. This way it allows us to schedule more observations, with longer duration and more chances to receive the satellite. Also while observation is in future status, TLE may change and be updated for the pass, this way pass may go higher or lower.

Hm, I recall a discussion about „hard limits“ if there are obstructions. But might be shifted to the rotator controller to just allow safe movements…
