I’m building a CubeSat. For communication I’m going to use LoRa (Ra-01 module). I’ll have the module on the second stack, while the antenna will be on the top stack (board). I plan to have the signal travel from the module to a header pin to the top stack then to the antenna. Will this configuration lead to any signal loss? And is there any better way to implement it?
The signal loss on 20cm of low-loss-cable will be irrelevant. But one thing I would take into consideration is, not to have a line length of lambda/4 or odd multiple, to avoid impedance transformation, which could lead to a poor SWR of the TX-path.
