Job lock faied - what does it mean?

I’m still floundering. New install of satnogs-client on RPi. Can’t get off the ground. Where should I start? My observations are all black(failed). First is typical from journalctl:

Feb 3 22:32:31 satnogs190 satnogs-client[324]: satnogsclient.scheduler.tasks - ERROR - Observer job lock acquiring timed out.

Where should I look?

Please share your config and log information, now it is a needle in a haystack.

  • sudo satnogs-setup -> Advanced -> Support
  • sudo journalctl -f -u satnogs-client -n 512

As requested: here are journal and support summary.

satnogs_soapy_rx_device": “rtlsdr” change this to satnogs_soapy_rx_device": “driver=rtlsdr”

We see some network connect errors, can you try ping network.satnogs.org and see if we get a ping reply.

I guess the main issue is the missing driver= value.

making some headway. My fat-finger of driver=rtlsdr fixed now so the observations go ahead.

Now getting good observations. Thanks for the help, guys.
