Issues with FT-991 , and Linux Mint 20

Hello, I have problems setting my FT-991 to split mode. I have tried the different options in
“edit radio configuration” , but I cannot set any VFO options for up/down.vfo

I am using the command rigctld --model=135 --rig-file=/dev/ttyUSB0 -s 9600 -t 1234 to start the rigcontrol daemon, it tunes VFO 1 just fine. My hamlib version is Hamlib 3.3

How do I solve this ?

I guess you’re in satellite mode on the rig, so you should to set VFO Up/Down. It is also preferable to use the Hamlib 4.0 installed from the source and command line in this case, for example, will be:
rigctld -m 1035 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -s 9600 -T 127.0.0.1 -t 4532 V Main F 145920000 V Sub F 436800000 V

Hi, you need change this

Speed on the 991 is 38400 baudios

the comand on the terminal like this sudo rigctld -m 135 -s 38400 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -vvvvv

port 4532 normally used
radio type :put in mode Duplex TRX
ptt Status : read PTT
VFO Up/Down Sub for up and Main for down, you see signalized whit arrows simbols.
