Looks like they have an issue with tx. ARISS image gallery has submissions from c1800z 22-Nov but nothing since. Amsat live status page shows “nothing heard” since the same time. Not found any ‘official’ announcements on problems.

Thanks for posting that observation! Hope they get the SSTV downlink running again, but it was nice to check out one of the images from that recording.

Hello! What tooling is this? Currently looking for better ways to handle SSTV manually.

Looking forward to seeing everyone’s images here.

On linux, I use QSSTV for sstv decoding.

It could be particular to my setup, but I’ve found one issue that is good to know.

I normally leave my mode set to AUTO, but if you change it for some reason, be sure to close the program and then launch it again fresh.

In the past, when I have foolishly changed to something other than AUTO, I would get no decode. Simply closing the app and re-starting it, the manual setting to some specific mode works fine. Ditto going from a single mode TO the auto setting… after that change, stop & re-start the app.

But again, AUTO is where I leave it now and everything works great.

:double_exclamation_mark: :double_exclamation_mark:“It’s surprising that today, exactly 25 years ago (November 13, 2000), our Kenwood D710 broke down.
The transmitter turns on for 3-4 seconds instead of 2 minutes.
The crew pressed the PTT switch on the microphone.
The same effect: the transmitter turns on for 3-4 seconds and then turns off when the switch is pressed.
I’m asking for your help.
Can you recommend something?

Well… Event ended due to unforeseen circumstances.
