We would like to invite members of Libre Space to take part in the CCSDS Outreach Initiative and Competition, and to join an introductory webinar on Wednesday, 14 January 2026 at 16:00 TC.
The initiative is being led by the European Space Agency (ESA) on behalf of the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS), in collaboration with Goonhilly Earth Station, AMSAT-UK, and AMSAT-DL. Its objective is to strengthen engagement with the amateur-satellite and academic communities by promoting the development of open, high-quality, standards-compliant reference implementations of CCSDS space communication protocols.

The webinar will provide an overview of the programme, outline opportunities for AMSAT organisations to contribute and collaborate, and include time for discussion on how this initiative could align with ongoing and future amateur-satellite projects.
