merry xmas!
10:46 UTC. I did not expect to receive such a clear signal from this broadcast with my turnstile antenna, since AOS at my QTH in Greece was at 10:45 UTC.
Success!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I’m really glad that so many of you already received the beacon. Merry Christmas to everyone! ![]()
It was exciting, with such a strong signal at only 16-17 deg from my QTH. I’m traveling right now, but i’ll email my recording and a picture of my helper elf soonish.
Thanks for the event. Its been fun.
Strong signal at 21:26 UTC

Many thanks for this transmission to S. Europe.
Strong signal received in Brazil… I’m having a lot of difficulty pointing the antenna with my portable setup because unfortunately I’ve developed a major problem with my right hand (I’m going to have surgery this week
).
I’m writing this post with difficulty
. As soon as I feel better, I will share my results, but HERE is the observation from my SatNOGS station.
Merry Christmas to all and thank you @vici for scheduling this transmission for Brazil (I didn’t expect this problem with my hand, so I won’t be able to receive the satellite at 13:54UTC).
keep safe and health bro. ![]()
finally i know, -.-.- = # ![]()
merry christmas! so the xx deg c on morse is temperature right? what temperature is that?
Hey Bali,
You can use this website its a morse code translator Morse Code Translator | Morse Code World
Thank you so much. Yesterday got all three beacons at the requested time. Very strong and clear signal (30dB over -95 noise floor). Already sent them to request eQSL. Merry christmas!
In Morse code, “CT” is a “prosign” (procedural signal) meaning “Commence Traffic” or “Start of Message”, representing the beginning of a transmission, written as -.-.- without spaces between the letters.
