This tripod was found in the TV antenna section of Menards, a home improvement store, for $25. It’s made of galvanized steel, so not nearly as light as the SatNOGS tripod, but made for being outside 24/7. It is hard to argue with the price given that it saves the time and effort of printing and assembling one from raw materials.
The plan is to cut the mast close to the rotator and use the male/female coupler shown on the table. It will make transport much easier.
