Hi!
I am building a SatNOGS helical antenna without using a 3D printer. This requires other ways to connect PCV tubing together. I found that heating the PVC with a paint stripper, bending it into shape over a mandrel and allowing to cool, and then gluing with PVC glue gives a very strong bond.
