Hello will I be able to use my Funcube dongle Pro and if so what is the setting in SATNOGS_RX_DEVICE

Theoretically, yes, using the device string “fcd”

In practice you will probably encounter problems with gain settings, sample rates and the need for I/Q correction. So, I would recommend starting with a known to work reference setup with RTL dongle, then experiment with the FCD once the ground station is working.

Hi Dave,

I am not doing any work in this area, so I have no updates. I believe there might be some other threads about using the FCD; however, I am not familiar with anyone who actually got all the way though configuring the FCD for satnogs use.
