I have a question? why does the frame data that is entered here https://db.satnogs.org/ not synch with each users ground station? I can see the number of frames I upload but they do not appear in my ground station status log as a submition from me?
Short answer is that db and network are two separate services, there is transfer between them but not in a mirroring fashion.
@fredy can probably explain in more detail if you need.

Which data did you expect to be synced and to which ground station.
Where do you see the ground station status log?

Hi Fredy, please see the image below this is some of my data coming into SatNOGS DB Initially I thought that this would be matched with my account and recoded as a status log on my ground station 3691.
But if they are two separate DB’s as SA2KNG says then that explains why the data does not appear there.
SatNOGS DB doesn’t have the concept of station (at least for now), so the frames that are coming either from Network or 3rd party observers are saved and stored with the metadata that user (3rd party or Network) sends with them.
For each frame coming from SatNOGS Network, observation id, among other metadata, is saved, so you can associate your station with these frames through the observation.
There are planned changes in the future that will make these associations stronger but it will take some time.
