Thanks for this information and update, the SatNOGS database is also updated
Thanks @chrisethompson for checking it, as IARU now states it as coordinated, we will be able to track it in the full Networkās potential!
PS The satellite will be available for scheduling in Network ~1h before launch.
Super excited to see what SatNOGS picks up from fram2!! Thank you all for looping in Fram2Ham and Dragon in on your great work!
FYI, re: the earlier comments about image publication.
This cycle of ānot publishing SSTV images from Dragon in public forumsā (social media or otherwise) will extend to the real fram2 flight upcoming. The reason for this, as previously alluded to, is because students are competing in teams to decode and place the images on the world map. Therefore, images being published to public forums, whether strict āsocial mediaā or not, will sort of devalue the educational spirit for the students as they can just trawl the internet for clues in that case instead.
I imagine thereās not much that can be done about network telemetry, but just wanted to note that images should be excluded from BBS/forums as well until competitionās end! Thanks everybody!!
Iām closing this topic, which was mainly about the Fram2Ham ISS experiment, for the actual Fram2Ham event please check the updates on this topic:
