We are the development team behind DJIBOUTI 1B, scheduled for launch this Saturday . We kindly request your support in disseminating the following information to the SatNOGS community to facilitate widespread tracking and reception of our satellite’s signals.

Satellite Details:

  • Name: DJIBOUTI 1B

  • Frequency: 401.8 MHz

  • Modulation DOWNLINK: GMSK 2400

  • Protocol: AX.25

  • Telemetry: Transmitted every 35 seconds

We would greatly appreciate it if you could share these details with the SatNOGS community to encourage numerous stations to listen for and record transmissions from DJIBOUTI 1B.

Have in mind that we are going to track the launch in this thread.

One quick question, which rate is going to be used at the beginning? The 2k4 or the 9k6 one?

Thanks, I’ve set the 9k6 as inactive for now in DB. When you change to 9k6, let us either know here or even better suggest the change directly in SatNOGS DB, by logging in, going to transmitter page and edit the transmitter.
