In our ongoing effort to organize our data in SatNOGS DB so that Network and Clients can have an informed policy on tracking/monitoring (more on that on a different thread soon), we did introduce in the past for each transmitter a “Service” attribute.
I took a harder look at the Radio Regulations Articles of ITU which provide a good starting point for definitions and regulation/coordination around the world. We are already at a good point, but we need to make some adjustments.
