coincidentally I have a second raspi2 I’m working on using for satnogs running jessie… (mostly because I’m testing a gnuradio+funcube dongle setup as a replacement for rtl_fm+rtl_sdr, and that will be much easier in jessie)
So far everything satnogs-wise works in jessie, the only issue being that jessie is a bit more advanced to get running. If you choose to do that I’d recommend starting with this image from this post rather than trying to bring raspbian up to jessie.
