I was thinking if it would be possible to extend a frequency coverage by connecting a local oscillator with a mixer to get access to C-X Band.
My question is about the doppler correction block, which would be calculated for different frequency. For example, I would like to receive a signal at 4 GHz, with 3 GHz LO. IF frequency to which I would be tuned to is 1 GHz, but doppler correction would be assumed incorrectly to 1 GHz.
When we take a look at the actual block, there is a Satellite Frequency option, could it be so easy, that only this setting should be changed? In the attached picture I added + LO, where LO is a frequency of the local oscillator.
