Hi everyone,
I’ve built an independent, space-grade telemetry optimization protocol called AstroSync, designed specifically to mitigate packet loss and optimize downlink bandwidth for multi-dimensional sensor and satellite missions.
How it works:
- Anti-Aliasing & Decimation: Applies edge-side Gaussian filtering followed by geometric downsampling to protect vital data from aliasing.
- Bit Quantization: Compresses heavy 64-bit float payloads into ultra-light 8-bit integer streams (yielding ~72% to 93.75% bandwidth reduction depending on grid sizing).
- Ground-Side Reconstruction: Uses multi-dimensional cubic spline interpolation (
RectBivariateSpline) combined with cognizant neighbor-averaging to recover data even under severe deep-space packet drop conditions.
I’m looking to connect with community members working on ground station data pipelines or telemetry handling to discuss potential optimizations or test compatibility with existing stream flows. I’d love to hear your thoughts or feedback!
