@BY7070SWL drew my attention to the 2026 International Space Communication Challenge.

It’s from July 21 (evening) to 24 (noon).

One of their six so-called competition tracks is "Satellite Enigma Race" :

This globally open amateur satellite-contact activity encourages teams to receive satellite telemetry signals faster and better. Within the designated competition window, teams or individuals earn points by receiving special telemetry signals from the ASRTU-1 “Friendship” satellite and performing decoding and puzzle-solving operations.

You have to register until July 10th.

btw i never got any e-qsl from asrtu-1 last events… many time email, but no confirmation..

To be able to win a competition, you have to be on site to take part also in the other tracks.

For me, it doesn’t have to be a free satellite launch, a QSL card would also be ok (what would then the first one for me, too).
