AlphaSpid Rotor with Hamlib + GPredict

Hi to all! I have problems to control the Alphaspid rotor for my university groundstation. I installed the USB cable with my pc (Ubuntu), but when the gpredict connect to hamlib, apears a error that says “timeout communication”.

The configuration of gpredict its very simple (i beleive that this part is ok). The command for rotctld that im using is:

rotctld -m 901 -t 4533 -s 9600 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -vvvvv

I tried with several rotor config (all for the alphaspid) 901/902/903 and varios speed 9600/115200/etc.

The rotor console its in AUTO mode, as the manual request.

¿Any idea?

Que error da la consola ?

The error it’s Timeout, when i try to move the rotor from gpredict and track a satellite.

Spanish: El error es Timeout cuando trato de mover el rotor desde el gpredict para seguir un satelite.

OK, My bad english, lol.

No le esta reenviando los datos desde el rotor al Gpredict, proba con otra version de Hamlib me paso y lo solucione asi.

Finally works with this command, and without any hardware modification o cable:
rotctld -m 901 -t 4533 -vvvvv -s 600 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -C data_bits=8 -C parity=none -C stop_bits=1
