I got satnogs-client working to send the rotator command by applying the rotator.py patchlet mentioned in this thread:

Observation stopped after exceeding 180° azimuth

I had this exact same issue when setting up a rotator using NETROTCL and pulled my hair out for several days. Long story short, deep down in several places in the settings NETROTCTL is configured to only allow rotation from 0-180. Here’s the fix that worked for me. Let me know if this works for you! Satnogs only ever sends rotator commands from 0-360 degrees, so setting it to -180 and +450 like I did is a bit excessive, but I don’t think it’ll cause harm. [Screenshot_20220902-000828]

I also added the modified rotator.py to my greenctld repo.

Now the RT-21 won’t go past 90 El, 91 Az, but I think that is a configuration setting in the Green Heron itself.
