Adding existing ground station to satnogs

we have a already working ground station , is it possible to join satnogs network without installing the satnogs software?

Hi @nithin,

For getting in the SatNOGS Network your station will need to be able to get observations assigned/scheduled to it, perform them and return in specific format (some of) the artifacts (waterfall, audio, data).

Other alternatives:

  1. Keep your station as it is and forward frames from satellites directly to SatNOGS DB through the SiDS protocol.
  2. If possible, set up a SatNOGS station with a RPi and an SDR and share the antenna(s) between your ground station and the SatNOGS station by using a splitter.
