I was wondering what procedure did people follow for the successful observation of the 48851 SOAR satellite.
The last time I checked, SOAR didn’t transmit continuously but only over some places (I think it was over Europe). If that is still valid, you will need a station in Europe for getting an observation with signal.
I see, thank you for the information.
SOAR is transmitting over the east coast USA as well. My yagi antenna @ station 2134 had a good acquisition this morning with 15 data frames decoded.
You just let your client, antenna and SDR on and it was able to receive the data without any additional software?
Yes this is the minimum setup (all running in or connected with a RPi)… and of course you need to schedule the pass in Network.
