JAXA announcement:

The deployment event for those satellites by J-SSOD#30 will be broadcast via YouTube JAXA Channel.

December 9, 2024 (Monday)

PS More details about the satellites and their frequencies will be added in the next days

I’ve updated the first post with the necessary frequency info for the satellites.

I’m going to schedule observations for LignoSat and YOMOGI for the first 24h, I’m not going further in time as the initial TLE will be those of ISS during the deployment and we will need soon to update them.

To station owners, If you are going to schedule passes, please make sure you are going to leave some passes for ISS, as the satellites will share similar orbit with ISS for the first days.

Edit: APRS digipeater of YOMOGI will be inactive during the first orbits, if you schedule it you may only receive APRS messages from ISS.

It looks like YOMOGI CW signal is received in SatNOGS Network - Observation 10736922 around 300s and 400s.

It wasnt the proper pass for the direction of my antenna, but it seems I received the signal.

I was QRV for a low ISS pass. The interval between TX was ~ 1 min. Mostly something like - yomogi js1ymx si7f7b. However it appeared that the telemetry info at the end was not sent every time. yomogi js1ymx si7f7b 9df7e0025D. The “D” may be incorrect. Need better passes to verify.

Good hunting all.
