Which version to start with

Good morning,

I’m new to SatNOGS. I’m a part of the Workington Amateur Radio Club. We are planning to build a SatNOGS station. I’ve noticed that the STL files are under active development at the moment.

It looks to me like the documentation is currently at version 2 and the STL files at version 3. Would new builders like myself be recommended to wait until version 3 is ready? Can I help in any way?

We have access to a local fab lab for 3D printing etc.

Hello John,
If you haven’t started to build the second version I think that is better to wait. We believe that we will have a “beta” version of the third version in about a month. If you are in the middle of construction of version 2 I think that you should continue.
