UmKA-1 telemetry recordings

This has perhaps been asked dozens of times before, but since I’m a newbie here I go.

I’m trying to learn how to receive and decode telemetry data and I’m having a hell of a time. I think I have all the software and hardware I need, but before any earnest attempt I would like to try some tests. Thus, I need a few UmKA-1 telemetry recordings (in WAV format, preferably) to make a few tests with SDR# and VLC player. Where could I find such recordings? I’ve been looking around for some samples but no joy. There’s a GitHub site with sample WAVs, but none belongs to UmKA-1.

Hello,

I’m afraid I didn’t make myself clear. What I want are sample recordings from UmKA-1 telemetry in (preferably) WAV audio format, that’s simply it.

Thanks a lot, Igor! Once again you came to my rescue at the 11th hour. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve been successful(?) in obtaining a HEX(?) file from a AAUSAT-4 WAV file with HS Soundmodem, but this is certainly not the final output, just an intermediate step towards obtaining the actual telemetry info. Yet I don’t know what to do now, since gr-satellites has no Windows installer and compiling it with VS has proved to be very difficult. Anyway, here’s what I got:
