LILIUM-4 acts as a spaceborne relay for the Amateur Radio Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS). It is designed to be interoperable with existing ARISS (International Space Station) standards.

  • Downlink Frequency: 145.825 MHz

  • Protocol: AX.25

  • Data Rate: 1200 bps AFSK

  • Satellite Call Sign: BN0YCA

  • Supported Paths: ARISS, WIDE2-1

  • Digipeater Logic: * Responsive to both its unique call sign (BN0YCA) and the generic ARISS alias.

    • Config: PATH1=ARISS,1; PATH2=WIDE2,1.

2. UHF Telemetry & Secondary Digipeater

The UHF subsystem serves as the primary health-monitoring link and provides a backup digipeater capability during periods of low telemetry activity.

  • Center Frequency: 437.850 MHz

  • Protocol: AX.25

  • Modulation: 1k2 AFSK

  • Operational Note: When telemetry is not being actively transmitted, the UHF digipeater remains enabled for amateur use.

3. High-Speed S-Band Downlink

This link is used for high-bandwidth data transfer and as a high-speed telemetry backup.

  • Center Frequency: 2405 MHz (2.4 GHz ISM Band)

  • Modulation: GFSK

  • Initial Data Rate: 100 kbps

  • Variable Rates: Ground-commandable up to 1 Mbps or 2 Mbps depending on link margin and mission requirements.

In a tweet from Exolaunch, they just announced that DISCO-2 would be on Transporter-16. The ITU freqs listed are somewhat generic, so I have to doubt that they represent exact downlinks to expect:

435 to 438
2400 to 2450

Perhaps we can narrow that down to exact freqs from other sources.

Ok, there is IARU coordination at IARU Sat Coordinator

Coordination has been provided for downlinks on 437.075 MHz and 2432.500 MHz
