Hello.

Can you please help me ?
I am a novice and beginner using Satellites.
Thank all you programmers out there for providing a magnificent piece of software.
When I compare Gpredict transponder data with Amsat NA and N2YO’S website.
There appears to be differences.

Transponder data not correct. How can I edit local data ?
I am using Gpredict as master data source for passes and frequency information.

Help much appreciated.

Hi Mike,

If you are using the latest 2.x version, then transponder data is imported from the Satnogs database, so you will have to propose an update there and fetch data again.

Can you give an example which data is incorrect?

Thanks for prompt reply.
I was unaware of data source for Gpredict.
As I said on beginning post, I am a novice.
I have found Satnogs database and forum.
Another great resource for data on satellites.
I will check all satellites of interest on n2yo’s website and check against Amsat NA data.
I am running v2.2 and updating transponder data each time I run gpredict .
I can see data downloading.
To be sure I have accurate transponder frequencies.
Thank you for all your amazing programming and application.
