Station random crashes

Hi,

I have issues with my UHF station. It randomly crashes and then generates strange waterfalls :

In some cases you will still be able to see the satellite passes. It doesn’t seem to be related to local noise. After a reboot everything is fine again.

Any idea as to how to fix this ?

please update your client. you are not running the latest version.

Hi,

Thanks I did that and now it’s completely broken and doesn’t generate any more waterfall. I usually try to stay away from client updates as this has been a pretty consistent experience : Upgrading results in a broken station and the only reliable way seems to be to reflash the pi.

Can you please post the output of “Advanced > Support” in satnogs-setup ?

Sorry that took a while. Please find attached below.

Generating support report. Please wait…

Nothing seems out of the ordinary to me, except perhaps the pre/post biast script (?) can you try removing it, running a full update/apply cycle on satnogs-setup an run a few observations?
