Is there something up with the station? Nice strong signal but sidetone is wonky as owt (as they say here). Interested to hear comments

What you seeing is the Doppler refresh rate. It corrects the frequency in steps, and the steps are visible here (audible as well probably).
Ah ok. Has this changed at all or s my memory wrong but I thought the CW was a bit more ‘readable’ in the past? I’m not great at CW but its tricky to read.
@g7kse I think you are right! The CW sounds like it steps around each second. I am pretty sure that the sleep interval is 100ms on the client.
