The addition of a type converter (float to signed 16-bit short) and a UDP sink would allow users to run Direwolf alongside satnogs to decode and igate any AFSK1k2 packets the station may see during its scheduled observations.

I’ve been running an igate like this for a while, and it has performed quite well. Direwolf uses pretty much zero CPU when it’s not getting samples, so there’s very little overhead.
