Observation 14705497: PEARL-1A (98332)

Regarding Observation 14705497 …Hi everyone,

While looking at my recent waterfall for PEARL-1A (Observation #14705497), I noticed some extra signals showing up on different frequencies away from the main track.

As a beginner, my first thought was: “Wow, did I just accidentally capture two satellites simultaneously?!” But knowing how quirky radio hardware and local interference can be, I figured I’d better ask the experts.

Are these sidebands, some kind of spur, or did I actually catch a lucky double-header? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like one of those ConnectaIoT at 4k8.

Thank you so much, dl7andr!

Ah, it was ConnectaloT! That makes total sense. I’m so thrilled to find out I actually caught two different signals at the same time. I guess this is beginner’s luck!

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Clear skies and 73!
