Here is a reference that I have used to determine between a “good” and “bad” observation.

Note: even if i schedule a “SSTV Observation” and all I get is Telemetry, I still mark it as a Good Observation. The satellite was transmitting and my station collected it. Even if the neighbor is running his Super Radio Interference engine, if I can see an appropriate signal, I’ll mark it good.
