This is my old setup for FM satellites hahahahahahah
To FM nowadays I also use an Yagi OWA 6el for UHF and an Yagi OWA 3el for VHF mounted on the same boom.
OWA designs are much better because they are easy to build and have a very good bandwidth.

All of this is super old but dude, the reception the FT-60R has is incredible, and the PX240 still works well today ![]()

1649, it’s still chirping. I have my yagi SSTV image, but I wanted to compare to the SatNOGS collect… I’ll post them together after the Maint is done.

live testing my sstv2satno, auto decoding inside satnogs-client (satnogs groundstation). not perfectly, but it works.
Well, if it’s still up later today, I have a high pass. But I think it might have re-entered before then…
It will go over me in about 90 minutes (4pm UTC) on an 88 degree Elevation pass…. maybe!
Terrible signal, but it’s still up (The TLM was much stronger at the peak, but unfortunately the SSTV was transmitted at low elevations…)

The observation is interesting, showing that the TLE is, indeed off… Mental math says it’s ahead of schedule… actual freq is ahead of calculated doppler. Kinda what we expect, eh?
