Hey everyone,
I’m a bit of an amateur hobbyist when it comes to space hardware, but I’ve spent some time pulling together a speculative open-source concept called ChrystalMoonBase (available at chrystalmoonbase.com and the code/docs on GitHub at github.com/ChrystalMoonBase/ChrystalMoonBase).
Basically, I wanted to see if I could map out a cohesive, end-to-end scenario for an autonomous lunar base at Peary crater using current and near-future tech. It covers things like power budgets (roughly 104–143 kW), wireless laser power distribution, anorthositic regolith sintering, and a conceptual rover design (CMB8LF-L1).
Since I’m just learning as I go, I’m fully aware there might be major gaps, massive oversights, or physics-breaking assumptions in my layout. If anyone has experience with robotics, space systems, or ISRU and has a few minutes to poke holes in my logic, I would honestly appreciate any feedback or reality checks you can throw my way!
