Electronic parts sources

In the process of finding suppliers for all electronic parts, two questions:

  1. USB host socket (85-32003-00X-1), I could not find any suppliers here. Where did you get that?
  2. You started to mix SMD (End pos switches) and wired (Arduino board) resistors. Personally I would switch that to SMD all over. Any opinions on that?

Alex

I got mine from Cypress… Shipped in reasonable time (to the US at least, not sure where you are located)

Any USB host socket (type A) with two ports would fit.

We are actually thinking of going with SMD (no Arduino) directly combining PSU and Arduino/Pololu boards into a single board. Any volunteers on taking a first pass on that?

Ok i am at it these days.

Good then we can just use any cheap one cool. I will update the library too then.

If someone does combine the boards, I would ask that external non-usb terminals be made available for +12v and +5v (off of the buck converter)… Just like it is today… these will be handy for future feature additions.
